The May 1999 production, Ladies of Spirit, went off well and was well received, although Glynis had to go thro' it all with a very bad throat and virus infection that meant it was touch and go whether she would get on stage each night.
She was playing the part of the ghost of someone who had died of influenza and the other actors suggested she was taking the part too seriously!
